Thanking God these past few weeks for:
- A great Thanksgiving time with some dear friends
- A wonderful sister who turned 21 (Love you, Becca!)
- Another wonderful sister who turned 25 (Love you, Jess!)
- A great new small group - and everyone's openness and excitement
- The new friendships/relationships being formed in that small group
- Learning how to extend grace to myself and letting myself off the hook.
- Getting to see family next week for Christmas
- The opportunity to go on a road trip with Jennie over New Years
- The fact that that road trip means Jennie'll be living in Denver again! WOO HOO!
- The reminder that the Lord is my Advocate...and I don't need anyone else nor do I have to do it myself
- The reminder and assurance that I'm working where I'm working for a far greater purpose than simply to get a paycheck. The Lord has me here to reveal Himself to the people I work with.
- My job
- That even with a great job, the Lord is my Provider. Not my company.
- The advent season
- The opportunity to celebrate the birth and arrival of my Lord.
Merry Christmas all! In the midst of all the commercialism and busyness of the season, may you be surrounded by the present awareness of our Lord and find moments of peace and reflection with Him.
