- Opportunities for character development (in those I'm leading, pastoring, etc)
- Notes of encouragement in unexpected places
- A chance to lead worship at small group this week
- The freedom to call in sick to work yesterday (since I was feeling so terrible). Food poisoning or a 24-hr flu, whatever it was, is NO FUN.
- The chance to slow down and read a good book
- Reconnecting with more old friends via Facebook
