Thankful Thursday, Take 25

Thanking God this week for:

• The chance to celebrate the 10th wedding anniversary of my friend and pastors, Jay and Danielle
• The chance to celebrate Becca's birthday
• The great friends God's blessed me with
• Getting to see my family, meet my new newphew and see my step-sister get married next weekend
• My new dining room (I turned my 2nd bedroom - which is right off the kitchen - into a dining room)...I'm VERY excited to finally have a table in my house so I can host/serve people.
• The "yes" in my spirit - I know that sounds nuts...but the more I interact with and pastor people, the more I realize that, unfortunately, not everyone chooses to say yes to Jesus and all (the good and bad) He puts before us. And, as I come to terms with that, I'm that much more thankful that I've chosen to say yes and allowed Jesus to take me further than I could have ever imagined (and I'm sure I still have lots more in front of me that I can't imagine). It's been excrutiatingly difficult at times...but I wouldn't change who I am and all I've learned for anything.
