- Ladder Golf (Bolo Toss)- the BEST lawn game ever!!!! You have to try it!
- Jennie's coming home in the fall!!!
- Amazing God-ordained solutions to some really challenging pastoring situations - this is when you know that God is really in charge and working things out FAR better than you could have ever imagined or could have done yourself
- A great pastor to help me navigate and think through those tough situations and upcoming conversations
- Alavert - works miracles with my seasonal allergies!
- That I'm going to be able to continue my relationship and mentoring role with my "little sister" Angelica. (There was concern that her mom didn't speak English - and if she didn't, then I'd not have been able to communicate with her as Angelica and I transitioned into a "regular sister" relationship - rather than just the weekly tutoring at her elementary school. But, her mom does!!!! So, though there are a few more hurdles to get through, it looks like this'll work!)
- An upcoming three-day weekend - I'm going to see Colorado's Great Sand Dunes. And, there's even a creek (of snow melt) that makes it look like I'm going to a beach even though Colorado is completely land-locked!
- My friends who've graduated from grad school this spring - Tif, Kenton, LeeAnn
- Fun birthday celebrations for Ron and Melanie
- Being able to take a co-worker (R) with me to said birthday celebrations and watching my "church" friends interact with her. They didn't know she didn't know Jesus...and it was awesome to watch the conversations that unfolded. I know it really gave her lots of food for thought and is messing with her paradigm of what "Christians" are like.
- My church friends who just naturally reached out and embraced R without "preaching" to her...they were just normal with her
- Being able to integrate my worlds (work, church, KBM and other outside friends) into one. It's scary, challenging and weird...but also SOOOO rich and rewarding
