Thankful Thursday, Take 31

Thanking God this week for:

• New leadership and new vision being infused into one of the ministries I oversee
• Getting to talk to Jennie this past weekend
• That I'll actually get to SEE Jennie in just a few months!!
• Finishing my last VLI intensive last weekend
• That I only have one more lecture and one more exam and I'm DONE with VLI!!! :)
• Seeing Colin and Amanda get married last weekend - such a great moment of redemption on so many levels! :)
• Fun with friends
• SLEEP (I always forget that sleep is my body's best way to cope with stress....and I get grumpier and grumpier and then wonder why! I got NINE hrs of sleep one night this week and it's like I'm a NEW PERSON! WOO HOO!!!)
• Weather nice enough for me to walk home from work (not too hot, not too cold, not too windy) and getting to walk home twice this week!
• Training to be a "full - time" big sister with the girl I tutored this spring. I CAN"T WAIT TO RECONNECT WITH HER!!!!
• Being amazed by my own ability pastor and advise - there are these moments in the midst of conversations where I get outside of myself for a moment and am just shocked (in a good way) that I'm saying the things I'm saying and/or that people are asking ME the things they are and I actually have an answer!
• Missi's birthday party fun!
• Great conversations with friends that really cause me to think
• Being reminded of Jesus' love for me
• Being reminded that I've done nothing to deserve it but that He loves me anyway...and that no matter how I'm performing, I'm "okay" with Him

They sang during the ceremony: "Sing Alleluia" It was really cool.

I somehow managed to not get a picture with Amanda...but here's one of me with my friend Heather. She used to work with Amanda...and now she works with me. What a small world!!!
