Thankful Thursday, Take 40

Thanking God this week for:

• Deeper and deeper relationships with coworkers
• Digital cameras and digital pictures
• A non-rained-out Rockies game on Wednesday!
• My brother-in-law, Ray's salvation (!)
• My father and step mother's patience and grace toward Ray as he and my sister have walked through so much in their short relationship. My parents were un-relenting in showing love and sharing Christ with him in a grace-filled way.
• Jesus' pursuit of Ray's heart - Ray actually said this week "I've NEVER felt so loved like I do from God right now."
• My sister's renewed interest in Jesus because of how Ray's responding and changing
• The power of prayer - though I hoped, (I've realized that) I really NEVER thought Ray would come to know Jesus.
• The encouragement that comes from seeing how prayer's worked in Ray's life - gives me hope to believe that my co-workers really will come to know Jesus.
• The example of my friend Scott - although he doesn't know Jesus (and currently isn't interested at all), he models Jesus and what it means to be a man more than most Christian guys I know
• God's sovereignty - He really is in control of and in everything. Let that sink in for a minute. It's staggeringly overwhelming and comforting all at once.
